Solat Fardhu

Solat Fardhu is the solat that must for a muslim to perform it. It have 5 times per day in which are Subh, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Ishak.

The one who not performing the Solat Fardhu will be asked when there are in Barzakh, and who did not perform it will get punishment.

For Subh, it has 2 rakaat, for Zuhr, Asr and Isyak they have 4 rakaat per day. Meanwhile for Maghrib prayer is performed for 3 rakaat only.



      One must be a Muslim
      Facing Kiblah
      Free from Impurities
      Has Reach Puberty
      Must be Sane and Conscious
      Must have Wudoo(Ablution)
      Must at the Right Time when Prayer is being performed
      Must have intention for Prayer in the Heart
      The ablution is canceled
      Eating and drinking while Solat
      The aurah is open
      Move, 3 times continuously
      Not clean, in place, ourself or clothes
      Talking with intention while Solat
      Left the pillar of Solat
      All takbeers except at the opening
      Saying Subhaana Rabby al-‘Adheem when Bowing
      Saying Sami’a Allaahu Liman Hamidahu This Applies To Imam
      Saying Rabbanaa wa Lakal-Hamd This Applies to everyone When They are I'tidal
      Saying Subhaana Rabby al-A’alaa When Rukuk
      Saying Rabb Ighfir Le while in between the two prostrations
      The first Tashahhud
      Sitting during the first Tashahhud

Solat Sunat

  • Muakkad: Rasulullah perform often
  • Ghair Muakkad: Rasulullah do perfrom the prayer, but sometime he did not
  • From Sahih Muslim:

    مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَلِّي لِلَّهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً تَطَوُّعًا غَيْرَ فَرِيضَةٍ إِلاَّ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ

  • Meaning: A muslim servant pray because of Allah SWT 12 rakaat per day as tathawwu' and not fardh, and Allah will develop for him a house in heaven.

Muakkad Prayer

      2 rakaat before Subh
      2 rakaat before Zuhr
      2 rakaat After Maghrib
      2 rakaat after Isya'

Ghair Muakkad Prayer

      The last 2 rakaat before Zuhr
      The last 2 rakaat after Zuhr
      4 rakaat before Asr
      2 rakaat before Maghrib
      2 rakaat before Isya'
